  Prompt Response: My appearance to others because I hear a lot of things from others but I never really payed attention about those but it made me had to think about those times.   Prompt Response:  It made me realize that I am stronger than I think and how I can get through anything.  Summary: I wrote the similes and metaphors reflecting myself.  Reflection: I feel like similes and metaphors can help you figure out who you are in life and it helps describes it in a way people may not understand.

  Prompt Response: I feel like I grown with my essay by actually going step by step in my essay. I looked over my rubric as much as I needed and made sure that I followed what I was supposed to do to get a good grade. Summary: Today we finished our essay for the Barack Obama concession speech. Reflection:   I am positive I am going to get a good grade on my assignment.

What is the best piece of advice of that your parent or guardian has given you? Tell what the advice was and what prompted you to ask the question.

  Prompt Response: The best advice I've gotten is to not listen to what people say because I do that a lot and I shouldn't be doing that because it's nobody business of what I got going on even though i'm a very caring person. Summary: We did a writable based on people essays so we can write ours the proper way. Reflection: I am very excited to start writing my essay.

What is the most challenging part of working in a group? Discuss a time when a group assignment did not go as well as you planned and how you learned from that experience.

  Prompt Response:  Everyone not working together and when everyone can't agree on one thing.  Summary: Today we analyzed different essays and graded them based on how they wrote in the steps.  Reflection: It was good to see other students and knowing how to properly write a essay for a easy pass.

What is the most challenging part of writing an essay for you? Is it brainstorming, organizing ideas, writing a strong thesis, or something else? How do you plan to overcome this challenge?

  Prompt Response: For me it's hard for me to come with the sentence because I want it to make sense, stick to the rubric, and still make my point without me messing up. Summary: We did the second part of our MLK speech rhetorical device paragraph. Reflection: I learn more about America the more I read and think about each part of each quote MLK said that day.

  Prompt Response: When I first won my first competition it was my first time competing so it was a very exciting moment for me.  Summary: We started writing piece by piece article for MLK speech.   Reflection:  It was very interesting to know to properly write a opening paragraph.
