  Prompt Response: Reflect on an experience where you felt confident in you abilities? How did that confidence influence your choices or effort? Before this competition I was really determined that we was going to hit every stunt and when we performed we dropped a stunt and I was very upset because the whole team's energy was really good maybe a little too excited. Summary: Today we broke down chapter 12 and answered questions about the book and connections to us. And we also did vocabulary. Reflection: I know how to be humbled after that experienced.

Based on the first 40 minutes of the film and Chapters 1–11 of the book, does the visual version of Chris’s journey make his choices seem more justified or more reckless than the text does? Explain how the medium (film vs writing) shapes your perspective.

  Prompt Response: The movie made Chris decisions more justified to where readers and myself can understand what had happen for him to start on the journey. The text just made it seem like he ran away without any context. Summary: Today we watched the first 40 minutes of the movie 'Into the Wild'.  Reflection: The movie made me realize that us kids have gone through what happened to Chris because he was living with unfair parents who didn't care about how him and his sister felt.

Think about a moment when your understanding of your family changed as you got older. How did that shift impact your perspective, and how does that connect to Chris’s realization about his parents in Chapter 11?

  Prompt Response:   It shift once I moved to GA. I wasn't;t around my family anymore and now I realized I don't have that much structure anymore. Summary: Today we went over what each family member does in my life. Reflection: I have a good support system.

Which chapter stood out to you the most, and why? In your response, explain what specifically made this chapter meaningful, interesting, or impactful. You may consider elements such as McCandless’s actions, a key event, a theme, or Krakauer’s storytelling.

Prompt Response: I feel like all the chapters we recently read has specific events that had a meaning either about life or McCandless that shared to us about how he was really living and feeling despite what he had. Summary: Today we took the chapter 1-10 test about 'Into the Wild'. Reflection: I am very positive that I passed the test.

n the response, explain how success is currently defined (grades, college acceptance, achievements, happiness, etc.) and where those ideas come from. Then, consider whether that definition truly reflects personal values or if it is shaped by expectations from family, school, or society.

  Prompt Response: How you put yourself in school can determine who you come from or how your raised by and it can bring happiness because it feels like you accomplished something in your life. But it doesn't define what you do in the future. Most people don't want to continue with education after High School because it's not something they're interested in or just don't want to do any work and do real life American things. Summary: Today we answered classmates questions, two assignments on the book, and read chapter 9-10. Reflection: I finished my two assignments and the reading.

Chris chooses independence over relationships. When have you chosen to be on your own instead of relying on others? What happened, and would you make the same choice again?

  Prompt Response: It depends on the situation because if it something I needed help with from that particular person I would ask that person if not then I'll leave it to myself. Summary: Today we went over tiny summaries of the book and answered questions related to it. Reflection: I will finish the homework assignment on time.

Choose a vocabulary word from Lesson 10 that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word.

  Prompt Response: The word luminous relates for me the most because even though I may have my moments where I don't feel like being dealt with. A lot of my coaches and teachers describe me as full of light because of my personality. Summary: Today we Lesson 10 of the vocab and did 15 sentences and 2 exercises based on those words. Reflection: I was able to turn in my work on time today.

For most of you, yesterday you took the SAT. If you did not, you will take it before you leave high school. What is your desired SAT score? Identify your top three colleges and explain why each school appeals to you.

  Prompt Response: My desired SAT score is what is granted for my dream college and if not just make sure I do good enough to get accepted to any good college. My top 3 colleges are Albama A and M, Clark Atlanta, and Kennesaw State. Summary: We read chapter 7 of the book an worked on an assignment. Reflection: I will turn in the work before Sunday.

Do you find it easy or difficult to adjust your schedule? Explain how the time change affects your mood, productivity, or daily habits.

  Prompt Response: I find it adjustable enough its not to easy or too hard it's just something that your body has to get used to so it can help you make certain things easier for yourself. Summary: We read half of chapter 6 and a 3,2,1 assignment. Reflection: I'm still wondering how McCandless died.

Has a book, song, musician, or artist ever influenced the way you think about life, goals, or the world around you? Identify the specific book, song, musician, or artist and explain how their ideas or message affected your thinking.

Prompt Response: Not a particular artist but different songs that inspire me to do better in life and help me focus more. Summary: We did discussion questions on the book and read chapter 5. Reflection: I am ready to read chapter 6.

In Into the Wild, Christopher McCandless gives up many of his possessions in pursuit of freedom and meaningful experiences. If you had to simplify your life and keep only a few important possessions, what would you keep and why? What would be hardest to leave behind?

  Prompt Response: I will keep the things that keep me healthy. Summary: We went over answers and read chapter 4. Reflection:   I will finish the assignment.

People sometimes feel the need to step away from their normal routines or environments in order to better understand themselves. Describe a time when you needed distance from a situation, place, or group of people in order to think more clearly or gain perspective. What did that experience teach you about yourself?

  Prompt Response: My old competition team because I didn't want to continue to injure myself physically and mentally. Summary:   We read chapter 2 and 33 and did a assignment. Reflection: He died too quickly.

After reading Chapter 1 of Into the Wild, consider your first impression of Christopher McCandless. Based solely on the events and details presented in this opening chapter, do you believe McCandless truly understood the risks he was taking when he entered the Alaskan wilderness? Why or why not?

  Prompt Response: My first impression was I thought he was just a man who didn't want to be bothered by anyone and wanted have a new life. Summary: We learned new facts about how to prepare for a hiking trip. And we read the first chapter of the book 'Into the Wile' today. Reflection: I am very curious of how he died and how he got so far into his trail.

Today you worked on creating your Vocabulary Digital Cards in Adobe Express. In one well-developed paragraph, reflect on the assignment by explaining which vocabulary word was easiest for you to understand, which word was most challenging, and how creating your own sentence and selecting an image helped strengthen your understanding of the vocabulary.   Prompt Response: I think they were all challenging trying to find a picture to that word.  Summary:  Today we did vocabulary for 15 new vocab words.  Reflection: My assignment is gonna look nice
