Describe a place that holds deep memories for you—positive or negative—and explain how it reflects part of who you are or how you’ve changed over time.

Prompt Response: A place that holds deep memories for me is my grandma's house because all of my family had went over there for every holiday or school break, and my siblings always bonded there more to make us get closer, it reflects who I am because I am a people person. I always watch after who I care for if needed. Summary: We read a story called A Rose for Emily and she hid her father's body in her house which caused it to smell bad because she was in denial of her father's passing and didn't want to let go, but she did eventually. Reflection: I can see how she felt because if I lost my mom I would go into a mode like that but it's not worth smelling a deceased person because I don't want to live with that and it's better for someone to rest in peace.

Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

Prompt Response:  An adventure I would like to go on is a trip to cold land or a place that has nature and waterfall. Because I see that those are the places that people really find their peace in or find themselves as a person because there are times where I can't take much and I don't want to be bothered with so a place like that I would really enjoy. Summary:  We learned about Emily Dickinson and the way she writes her poems. To other people they seem very dark or have that type of feeling, but they still read it to find like a message or hidden thing that can maybe teach them. Reflection:  I was asked "Who am I?" and it made me wonder who I am to myself and to others but had to focus on what I mean to myself.

Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

Prompt Response: When I see that issues are starting to happen I try to get away from it because I have enough going on and I don't want any more stuff going on. Summary: Today we read The Life You Save May Be Your Own and a man do what typical men do they use women to get the things they want and left the daughter at a diner. Reflection: The daughter was deaf and I don't think he should have done it he could've just dealt with his poor life instead of using people for advantage.
