Think about a time when learning a new word or understanding a specific term helped you better analyze a text, express an idea, or make your writing stronger.

 Prompt Response: I learned that reading something then analyzing second really helps understanding the meaning of the poem or article it makes me think on a deeper level of normal literature. Summary: Today we did 3 exercises learning new vocabulary words and with the roots of those words combining them with other words that we use daily. Reflection: It’s good to see words that our generation use can be used in a more meaningful and engaging way for us to use in a writing.

  Prompt Response:  An adventure I would like to go on is a trip to cold land or a place that has nature and waterfall. Because I see that those are the places that people really find their peace in or find themselves as a person because there are times where I can't take much and I don't want to be bothered with so a place like that I would really enjoy. Summary:  We learned about Emily Dickinson and the way she writes her poems. To other people they seem very dark or have that type of feeling, but they still read it to find like a message or hidden thing that can maybe teach them. Reflection:  I was asked "Who am I?" and it made me wonder who I am to myself and to others but had to focus on what I mean to myself.
